The deal, in plain English

SimpleServ is volunteer scheduling software for churches, operated by Sunday Squad. You create services and positions, schedule volunteers, and we send scheduling emails on your church's behalf and track the responses.

You're responsible for your account credentials and for the people you invite as admins and users. When you add volunteers, you confirm your church has a genuine relationship with them and the standing to contact them about serving: SimpleServ is for scheduling your real volunteers, never for cold outreach or marketing lists.

Your church's data stays yours. We claim no ownership of your roster, services, or messages, and you can export or delete your data as described in our privacy policy.

Don't use SimpleServ to send spam or unrelated bulk email, to upload data you don't have the right to use, to attempt to access other churches' data, or to break the law. Email sending is subject to reasonable monthly allowances per plan to keep deliverability healthy for everyone. If something looks like abuse, we may suspend the account while we sort it out, and we'll talk to you like adults while we do.

Every new church starts with a 14-day free Pro trial, no card required. When it ends, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted: you drop to the Free plan until you choose otherwise. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, and you can upgrade, downgrade, change your card, or cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future charges; downgrading never deletes your data. Prices may change, but never retroactively and never without notice.

We work hard to keep SimpleServ fast, reliable, and honest, and support goes straight to the founder. But the service is provided "as is": we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and email delivery ultimately depends on providers and inboxes we don't control. Always sanity-check that Sunday is covered; the dashboard makes that easy on purpose.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're a small tool with a small price, and the liability cap matches.

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll email account holders rather than quietly editing the page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
